Dive Club Cipreia is a PADI IDC 5 Star center, and teaches all PADI levels, from Scuba Diver to Instructor.
Every year, we conducted a Instructor Course (IDC) with supervision of an examiner that PADI sends Portugal to ensure the quality of the instructors we have trained.
Our resident instructors participating in this course and take the opportunity to make an annual update of the diving practices and PADI standards. The experience accumulated by our team is crucial when deciding whether there are conditions to dive safely and what is needed to ensure a good experience for our divers, be it beginners or technical diving enthusiasts.
Nuno started his diving career with Dive Club Cipreia already last century. It has since been a Cenotes guide in Mexico from 2002-05, and managed dive centers in Rep.dominicana, Brazil, Curacao, Jamaica and Cape Verde. He returned to Portugal to open Dive Club Cipreia in Lagos, which has been fundamental the experience accumulated throughout the world.
Nuno has had contact with the Sea ever since he was a child.
He graduated from Dive Club Cipreia as Divemaster, and during a trip around the world decided to to become PADI and EFR Instructor.
Sara did her first dive in 2005, French Polynesia, and quickly developed a passion by the sea.
He started his diving career with Dive Club Cipreia in 2014 and followed up with a trip through the Americas.
She has dived in Honduras, St. Lucia, Panama and Lagos.
John did the Open Water in 1994 and never stopped diving. He did Nitrox, Wreck, Deep, Night and Cave specialties and remains one of our Divemasters with more experience. In addition, he is diver and Trimix blender by TDI.
Over the years he has become a second class professional diver , being an expert in underwater welding and cutting .
Has is certified for equipment maintenance for Mares, Scubapro, Aqualung, Oceanic and Apeks.
Works with adventure sports since 1997 and when not diveing he can be found climbing a mountain or cycling down the mountain!
Miguel started diving with Dive Club Cipreia and made the progression up to Divemaster, and already has several summers in the Algarve where he did much of the training.
Marcelo had his first contact with the sea in the Algarve in 2003.
Brazil, Gibraltar, Mozambique and Red Sea are some of the destinations he has visited for diving.
Since 2015 he is also a PADI MSDT
