That’s what the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about. You don’t have to be “advanced” to take it – it’s designed to advance your diving, so you can start right after earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification. The course helps build confidence and expand your scuba skills through different Adventure Dives. You try out different specialties while gaining experience under the supervision of your PADI Instructor. You log dives and develop capabilities as you find new ways to have fun scuba diving.
A PADI Advanced Open Water Diver can:
Plan and organizing dives with a diver with equivalent certification up to a maximum depth of 30m
Participate in organized dives and training dives in centers around the world.
Request fillers of tanks with air diving
Participate in various PADI continued education courses
Plan and execute 5 dives with your instructor, choosing from a long list Adventure Dive.
2 or 3 days (typically 1 end-of-week)
All the necessary equipment available to students (suit, mask, tube, vest, tanks, regulators, fins and lead belts) at no additional cost.
PADI Crewpack: Manual and DVD in the chosen language
International certification (PADI)
15 years old for PADI Advanced Open Water or 12 years for PADI Junior Advanced Open Water
Being PADI Open Water Diver or Junior OWD or equivalent from another training agency
